    I’m Bethany Nicole,

    Author.

    speaker.

    Soulworker.

I believe that the key to transforming how we work, lead, and live will be found in the souls of Black people of marginalized genders.

For too long, Black labor has been exploited, even as it has shaped entire industries, movements, and cultural shifts. Grassroots organizations are the backbone of our communities, doing the vital work of care, advocacy, and transformation. But too often, they are underfunded, overstretched, and forced to navigate systems that were never built with us in mind.

    that’s where I come in.

With over a decade of experience in workplace programming, project management, internal communications, and community-building, I help mission-driven organizations create liberatory workspaces that sustain both the people doing the work and the communities they serve.

soulwork is the foundation, and the framework is built on five pillars: wisdom, vocation, community, advocacy, and self-care. These principles guide how I support organizations in structuring their work in ways that are both impactful and regenerative.

If you’re an NYC-based grassroots organization serving Black communities, especially Black people of marginalized genders, let’s build something lasting together.

    work with me:

I empower grassroots organizations to build a foundation for lasting liberation. I believe that transformative work thrives when internal clarity meets intentional connection. That’s why my services are designed to streamline your operations and amplify your community impact.
